We have been working with Les Ensembliers for many years, over many projects. When we first started our partnership, we had just bought our new house. They helped us turned it into our home. As busy as they are, they always made us feel like we were their only client.

They put their creative minds to the service of our vision and not only did they meet our expectations, but far exceeded them. We have now partnered with them on three separate, very distinct projects and ever single one was a resounding success. I hope they outlived us so we can continue our journey together!

In 2017 I was considering purchasing a new condominium and wanted advice as to what design and decoration might be required. I immediately went to Les Ensembliers because of my prior knowledge of their expertise and customer friendly professional commitment to achieving goals jointly established. I could not be happier with the final result in their assistance in creating a home that is warm and always a great joy for me to live in and be able to welcome family and friends.

Richard and Maxime knew my house intimately as they completely renovated it and designed it down to the interior furnishings. They actually previously owned the house and lived in it. So when I had a significant fire that required reconstruction and design, I knew who I would call first, Les Ensembliers. Their integration of reconstruction and design allowed me to have one stop to discuss and coordinate all matters related to the complete renovation of my home. They take a holistic, fresh approach to a project and are not hostage to previous design elements or layout. Everything is “white boarded” where they can express their vision and execute what they like to call the WOW factor. I know that those that see the results echo the WOW sentiment and perceive a refined aesthetic with an attention to quality. Their team does not succumb to a cookie cutter look or design. They create a feeling and flow that is unique and enduring. They stand by their work and have been responsive to any required follow up and trouble shooting. Do not hire them if you are looking for ordinary. They don’t do ordinary.

I met Richard and his team at Les Ensembliers last summer when we bought our condo in Old Montreal. I was so impressed with their professionalism and ease in meeting with them. They were quick to understand our style and manage our expectation on timeline for delivery. Efficient and quality in their work is how I would describe them. They take the extra step and go beyond designing our condo. A few months they were inspecting our condo after they had a painter
paint the walls of the condo and one of the designers noticed a leak. She immediately contacted me and brought in an expert to try identify the source of leak. I have worked with a few designers in the past, by far Les Ensembliers has been the best so far. Looking forward to
having them complete designing our home in Houston!”

Your collaboration on space and design is absolutely unique. Once drafted, plans are executed in a systematic and detailed fashion throughout the project. Deadlines are respected and organization is impeccable, while thorough planning ensures minimization of unexpected risks. Our requests and interactions with Emilie were always met in a very timely and collaborative fashion. Emilie was fantastic in ensuring we were kept on schedule and abreast of all relevant aspect of the project’s progress.

We thank our lucky stars for having found Les Ensembliers. With them, the normally stressful experience of renovating a home has been made into a pleasure. More than an architecture, design and construction firm, they are a service-oriented enterprise in which every employee seems to think about the customer experience first. Condo board approvals, city permits and ‘neighbor management’ during construction were all equally well handled by them. So pleased are we with the results and the process, we’ve immediately begun working on a second home project together.

We found a very old heritage home that was in dire need of tender loving care and vision. As original plans were not available, the team had to do research and be very creative to bring out the good bones and tremendous character of this fine Queen Anne home. Working with Les Ensembliers we created a jewel. The restoration and renovation of our beautiful home could not have been done with such elegance and so quickly by any other team; they really ‘got it’ and delivered a fabulous easy living home!
