Richard has over 25 years of experience in all sectors of design, including fashion, styling, event planning and interior design.

Early in his career, he distinguished himself by becoming one of the youngest recipients of the Griffe d’or for his fashion designs.

Subsequently, he immersed himself in the world of industrial and urban design. After studying environmental design at the Université du Québec à Montréal, he worked in styling and graphic design as a project manager at an advertising agency.

Then, in 2004, he found his true calling as an interior designer.

He joined Les Ensembliers as a design partner in 2007.

In 2011, he was recognized in Quebec as one of the leaders in his field. His extensive and multidisciplinary international design experience with furniture and interiors has led him to become a master of his craft. He took the helm of Les Ensembliers as president in 2012.

In 2015, his work was internationally recognized by the prestigious Andrew Martin Review in England.

In 2016, Richard was selected to be part of the New York Kips Bay decorator show, in addition to being appointed as one of the Curated Kravet website’s curators.

In 2017, he created the first and only licensed fabric and trim collection in collaboration with the prestigious Brunschwig & Fils brand.

Since then, Richard has been a guest speaker at the Toronto Interior Design Show, the New York What’s New What’s Next event, and at High Point Market in North Carolina.

Richard’s work has been featured in House Beautiful, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, Traditional Homes, The Wall Street Journal, The Robb Report, and Canadian House & Home to name a few.
