Penthouse at the Ritz

Les Ensembliers completed this two-floor, 6,500-square-foot residence at the Ritz Carlton. The challenge was to ideate, design, and execute a fully decorated and bespoke project within a ten-week period. A unique set of artisans were brought onto the project to create unique signature pieces that would be placed throughout the home.

The living room fireplace was covered with a series of lacquered panels inspired by the idea of peacock feathers, and wood paneling and custom built-ins in a light warm oak were masterfully integrated throughout the space, adding warmth and character. For the lady's closet, a jewel box of a room was designed using one of the ensuite spaces: the final room is a private and chic oasis that she can call her sanctuary.

The impressive residence boasts many unique features, from 20-foot glass walls looking out onto the city skyline to oak parquet floors and a spectacular curved staircase, which were the perfect backdrop to create an art-filled, signature black and white space punctuated by gold accents, which act like pieces of jewelry adorning the home.

Creating any space high in the sky is a wonderful endeavor for designers—creating a black, white and gold signature jewel box at the top of the Ritz is a gift.
