A new layout for the whole house

This ambitious endeavor involved a complete transformation, with two key sections of the house extended to meet our clients' unique vision. The top floor was expanded to create more space, while the main floor was enlarged to accommodate a modern office.

Entering the house, a meandering path leads you to the sunken main living room, where panoramic river views take center stage, which then seamlessly flows into the dining and lounge areas through expansive wooden archways. The discreet kitchen and breakfast area are integrated into this open space, reflecting our clients' desire for a seamless and convenient daily lifestyle. To preserve the open feel of the living space, the kitchen was concealed behind a massive wooden wall of cabinets and systems. Further into the house, the family room leads to a private office, which in turn connects to a wine cellar.

Hidden away behind the kitchen's cabinet wall, a slender staircase leads up to the main suite. A true sanctuary, it has been designed as a full-floor loft with double circulations. It boasts a spacious bedroom with a sitting area, an impressive walk-in closet, a generously-sized bathroom, and even a gym. The icing on the cake: an elevator connects the main suite directly to the floor below.

Despite the challenges posed by multiple extensions and large-scale construction during the COVID era, we completed this project within a remarkable 18 months. Our clients are delighted with their new home, and so are we.
